Do you ever find yourself with half-finished user stories, sitting around for ages, unmerged? Or stale pull reqeusts from last July?

I recently closed a bunch of pull requests from previous team members. Some of whom had left the company more than a year ago.

On the one hand, it can feel good to delete some uncomplete work, and “clean the slate” so to speak. But what lead to this situation in the first place?
