How will continuous delivery benefit me?

I don't know how much continuous delivery will help you. It depends on your starting point. But it never hurts.

Continuous Delivery. Sounds great.

“But how will it benefit me?” you may be asking.

Will it save you 50% in development time?

Will it reduce defect rates by 38.7%?

Maybe it will reduce downtime by 21.8%.

Or perhaps it can increase employee happiness by 12.91%!

Which in turn could reduce churn and hiring costs by 8.319%…

The truth is, I don’t know how much continuous delivery will help you. Or anyone else.

Every situation is unique. It depends on your starting point. Sometimes it helps a lot. Sometimes it helps a little.

But I’ve literally never seen continuous delivery hurt anyone, any team, any product, or any company bottom line.
