LIVE Tech Story-Telling Workshop with Miriam Tocino

Feel stumped explaining your work to your children?

Do you children (or even your spouse) appear bored when you talk about servers?

Do you wish you had an approach for communicating the intricacies of class-based routing protocols to non-technical people?

Has anyone ever said “Explain it to me like I’m five”? Maybe even an actual five-year-old?

What if you were empowered to break down complex topics so that your children could understand, and even enjoy it?

Miriam Tocino’s LIVE Story-Telling Workshop makes it easy!

Join me, Jonathan Hall, and children’s book author and technology educator Miriam Tocino, for a free, live, interactive story-telling workshop!

We’ll be streaming live on YouTube, on Wednesday, June 23 at 17:00 (GMT+02:00). Click Watch Live, then click the Set reminder button to be notified when the event starts.

About the workshop

Children are growing up highly surrounded by technology without knowing what’s behind it. How do we spark their curiosity and introduce them to the world of technology to not only use it as consumers but to start seeing themselves as creators?

In this workshop, you’ll get to know Miriam Tocino, writer and illustrator of Zerus and Ona, a 0 and a 1, living inside your computer and sharing their adventures in The Binary World. Along with her, you’ll create a new story from scratch that will inspire your children to learn more about technology and start gaining superpowers.
